How are you all getting on?
I hope you’ve been enjoying the Summer, although it’s been a bit mixed here in the UK. Mind you, the wild flowers have been absolutely stunning haven’t they!
Well, we’re back from this year’s Residential Painting Holiday at Abingworth House in the South Downs and very enjoyable it was too. Masterpieces were completed in both oils and acrylic together with local trips out to the many stunning gardens and places of historical interest. We all thoroughly enjoyed the social element and mention was of next year!
With this in mind, I put some feelers out and was surprised to find so many places were already full up to the Autumn period. Having said that, I am overjoyed to report I have found a luxury 5 star self-catering house on the Norfolk Coast with panoramic seaviews and beach access directly opposite. For obvious reasons, I have needed to move at the speed of light to secure an available week and already have a full group for Easter 2022.
However, I was wondering if any of you would be interested in a week away in this location Friday, 30th September to 7th October period? It will be a little different this time, painting with acrylic and inks with some possible oil so an opportunity for discovery. Having said that, I will always use the medium that best suits the experience of the group as those who have been before know.
Whether you are a beginner or someone who has painted before, every age and every ability is welcome. For those interested, please get in touch and I will send over some details or maybe there’s someone reading this who has a group of friends who wish to learn to paint together in which case, I will taylor make this holiday to specifically fit your painting requirements.
