It’s so easy at this time of year to surround ourselves with nature and all those bright and pretty things that provide inspiration. Just a walk down the lanes or in our gardens and we can cut a few leaves and the odd flower for display indoors. For me, such surroundings are important for allowing my creativity to flow out onto the canvas. One young boy came for classes recently and made the comment that our house was like a giant gallery with so much to see – he said it ignited his own creativity and before we knew it we’d both be a fountain of ideas with creativity pouring in every direction. This is how it can be – effortless.
