Summer has rolled gently by and we’re touching into Autumn and a full season it is turning out to be.

The wonderful news is that the Residential Painting Holiday in Southern France at the beginning of June 2016 is now fully booked.  However, we have opened a fresh week for 18th to 25th June 2016.  Once again, we will have a week of fun, painting landscape and floral scenes with plenty of ideas and new ways to approach one’s artwork.  As always, step-by-step instruction will be given, leaving plenty of space for those who wish to paint what they want with assistance nearby.  Groups are kept to a cosy size to ensure individual tuition.

We have various courses on both Monday evenings and Saturday mornings starting in November – for those interested, there are still a few places on Saturdays.  These courses are composed of six sessions so that we can travel on a painting journey together, exploring a number of landscapes and floral scenes.  I am also going to be teaching the art of layering and how this can bring about added texture.  We also have a Christmas workshop arranged for the 11th December.

I will be exhibiting artwork at the ‘I Love Wight’ Christmas Fair on 29th November and the weekend before at the Dimbola Art & Craft Fair in Freshwater Bay on 21st & 22nd.  There will be the opportunity to purchase paintings and the seascapes on blocks of wood  as well as gift vouchers for that extra special Christmas present.

Finally, I have just completed my first taylor-made Painting Mini-Break on the Island.  Day trips out to locals places of interest are organised around Painting Classes/Workshops according to the client’s specifications.  It’s great fun for all involved.

All are welcome to come and take part in any of the above – we’d love to meet you.
